In early July 2026, LEDE AS received a flurry of concession activity in Telemark, with NVE granting concession for the new Frier transformer station in Bamble on July 6, 2026, and processing concessions for four associated 132 kV transmission lines connecting Bolvik, Brevik, Frier, Herum, and Rafnes substations. These grants collectively strengthen the grid infrastructure serving the Frier Vest industrial development area and represent a significant step forward in LEDE's Telemark reinforcement program.
