Overview

The municipality shows exceptional energy development activity with 15 concession cases and 14 grid queue items totaling nearly 708 MW capacity. A notable concentration of hydrogen projects (240 MW) and aquaculture facilities (52 MW) at Moskog substation, combined with substantial renewable energy production including the 240 MW Høyangerfjell wind farm, positions Sunnfjord as a key energy transition location.

Recent Activity

HyFuel AS recently acquired a 20 MW hydrogen project from HTwo-Fuel AS at Moskog station, maintaining its reserved grid connection status. This demonstrates continued investor confidence in hydrogen development in the region.
